Solutions by Tying Concept
Our baler tying solutions
Tying wire is often the largest contributor to overall baler operating costs, making the choice of consumables a critical factor in long‑term efficiency. To help reduce your baling consumable costs, our specialists can guide you in selecting the most cost‑effective baler tying options for your specific material and throughput requirements. Whether you rely on traditional baler tying wire, rigid plastic wire, polypropylene twine, or plastic strapping, we offer a full range of solutions designed to improve performance, enhance bale integrity, and significantly lower your ongoing expenses.

Steel Wire
Tying with steel wire is the most common method on a baler. Black annealed wire is the most popular option because it is widely available, easy to use and more affordable than galvanized wire.

Plastic Wire
Polyethylene (PET) rigid plastic wire is twisted in the same way as black annealed steel wire. It is compatible with incineration and wrapping processes.

Twine
The polypropylene (PP) twine is tied in a knot like an agricultural baler. The first system of this type on a channel baler was developed by PAAL in 2004. It is the least expensive on the market. It is also perfectly compatible with incineration and wrapping.

Strap
The polyester (PE) plastic strapping is welded at one end to create the binding on twin ram applications. The number of ties can be configured, unlike with channel presses.
